Gu Shelf
The Gu Shelf is a unique approach to a floating shelf. Inspired by the intersecting lines in architectural sketches that extend beyond their corners. It's simple form draws a onlooker in with a gentle angle that gives the design a sculptural quality. Its unique profile is architectural almost reminiscent of a spaceship one might see in star wars.
The shelf itself can be mounted to the wall with a split batten giving it a sleek look and offsetting the backing slightly from the wall. The shelf can also be mounted in a portrait or landscape format which gives the design two distinct looks.
